Day One - Christchurch
Arrive into Christchurch and transfer to your choice of accommodations.
Day Two - Arthurs Pass and Hokitika
After collecting your rental car you drive to the West Coast via stunning Arthurs Pass. Once you're through the pass the misty mountains gradually give way to classic west coast river and forest scenery. Rushing water, impressive bridges and tiny towns that are soulfully picturesque.
Day Three - Franz Josef Glacier
Meander your way from the quaint town of Hokitika to the West Coast Wildlife Center just outside Franz Josef - home to the official hatching facility for the world's 2 rarest kiwis – the Rowi and Haast Tokoeka.
Day Four - Franz Josef Glacier
Your toughest decision today is how best to explore this magnificent glacier - Heli Glacier hike, Valley Glacier hike or Heli Ice Climb. Whatever your choice you will enjoy relaxing at the end of the day in the Glacier Hot Pools

Day Five - Lake Wanaka
The drive from the Franz Josef to Wanaka over the Haast Pass is one of the most beautiful scenic drives in the world. The journey winds its way along rugged coastline, temperate rainforest and glacier country before entering UNESCO registered Mt. Aspiring National Park.
Day Six - Jetboating and Wilderness Tour
Flowing from Glaciers, the pristine waters of the Matukituki River are perfect to experience river jet boating on the longest and most adventurous jet boat tour in New Zealand.
Day Seven - Milford Sound
The road from Queenstown to Milford Sound climbs through the Southern Alps, taking you to heights of 940m above sea level and showcases the best scenery the Fiordland National Park has to offer. Once at Milford Sound take a 2 hour cruise down the length of the Fiord stopping at waterfalls and points of interest on the way.
Day Eight - Queenstown
Ride the Queenstown gondola to a skyline restaurant for a midday or evening meal, and enjoy scenic views over Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables Mountain Range.
Day Nine - Drive to Mount Cook National Park
A leisurely drive today from Queenstown to Mt Cook National Park via the scenic Karawau Gorge and Suspension Bridge.

Day Ten - Mount Cook National Park
Aoraki Mount Cook National Park is home of the highest mountains and the longest glaciers. It is alpine in the purest sense - with sky-scraping peaks, glaciers and permanent snow fields, all set under a star-studded sky. Choose from several stunning day hikes or take a birds eye view of Mt Cook from a helicopter.
Day Eleven
Say goodbye to the beautiful South Island as you drive from Mount Cook to Christchurch Airport.
